The NYE Outfit is Way More Important Than The NYE Kiss (Obviously).

I love picking out my friends' outfits. From phone calls to figure out what to wear for the first day of school, to helping a friend get ready to go out, I am always ready to offer advice. Although I have never had extravagant (scratch that) any, plans on New Year's Eve, I want to live vicariously through all of you while sporting Nike spandex and an oversized Alpha Phi shirt (and probably in bed, asleep before 11pm). So you’ve assumed correctly, I will not be posting an insta in a fab outfit ringing in the New Year. But I have put together some of my favorite looks to inspire yours!

The House Party

I went to a house party on New Years Eve when I was in high school and had to leave at 11pm because of my curfew… so that’s all I have to say about that. I hope this helps you look cute and that you are allowed to stay out past midnight.

The Socialite Event

I have always been envious of the girls who get to get all glammed up for black tie parties on NYE. The socialite lifestyle seems ideal to me because, who wouldn’t want to look elegant in a long dress? (and one that's not a bedazzled prom dress circa 10th grade). If you have to be around all your parents' friends for the night, why not look bomb doing it?

The Wedding

I honestly do not understand people who get married on New Year's Eve… But if you are in this boat, here are some outfits to pair with an expensive flute of (free) champagne.

The Tropical Vacation

Although I will be somewhere warm, it is not the place to get dressed to the nines but for those vacationing in paradise who do need an outfit for dinner and evening festivities, look no further!

Ok, I think I have embarrassed myself enough for a while!
