Est. 1776

For those of you who aren't up to date on history...July 4, 1776 marked the United States independence from Great Britain woo-hoo. So you might be asking, why is a fashion blogger giving me a history lesson? Well, today class, I will be covering 4th of July outfits.

Brace yourself for a day of "Star Spangled Hammered" , " 'Murica", "Last name Free, First name Dom", etc. Instagram captions. We Americans clearly lack creativity on this day. If you are considering using those type of captions, please keep reading so you will at least look good in the picture. And even if you aren't going to be using one of those captions and just want to look cute, keep reading as well.

Wildfox Tops

There are a lot of things that Wildfox does right - one of which being they are my go to for any holiday themed clothes but also extremely comfy. (If you don't own any of their sweatsuits you are missing out...BIG TIME)

Rails Tops

Rails are the greatest 'new' flannel shirt on the market. Period. Grab one of these festive button downs and throw it on over your Wildfox tee or Revolve bikini when it's time for fireworks.

Zara Bottoms

Zara is the best place to go right now if you want jeans with the racing stripe down the side. I actually went and tried them all on last week and they were all so cute. I ended up buying the first pair pictured below because I liked the relaxed boyfriend fit of them. Each of these bottoms are affordable and can be worn anytime, not just the 4th.

Revolve Bikinis

The key to a perfect 4th of July is having the perfect swimmy. Whether you're spending the day out on the boat or hanging poolside - check out my favorite stars & stripes suits from Revolve!

Happy 4th of July-ing!
